The 2024 Pleasants County Agricultural Fair is a 3-day an event. It is the largest community event in the county. This event showcases livestock, farm equipment, homesteading and many other activities. “The ag fair is many peoples only glimpse into agriculture but provides a picture of a lifestyle and opportunity to explore an industry that’s positively changed mine and others lives,” said Mr. Smitley (ag teacher). The ag fair is fun for all ages. It has music, food, inflatables, rides, horse shows, wood chops, car show, machinal bull, a petting zoo, antique farm equipment, demolition derby and fireworks. This year’s ag fair starts Friday Sept. 13 and ends Sept. 15. If you’re looking for something to do, consider going down to the Pleasants County Fairgrounds and supporting your local agricultural family.
