The St. Marys Lady Devils softball team travelled to Clarksburg to take on three AAA teams (Lewis, Frankfort, Robert C. Byrd) along with one AA squad (Lincoln). Although the Lady Blue Devils were the underdogs, they finished with a 2-2 on the weekend. An impressive fourth-inning comeback against Frankfort put them in the lead and they finished the game with an 11-8 win over the Falcons. Later that night, the Lady Devils did fall to Class AA Lincoln in a close 7-6 battle, both teams were strong at the plate, but the Lady Devils struggled defensively. On Saturday, the Lewis County Minute–maids cane out strong in the box with 17 hits, pushing the final score to be 11-7 over the Lady Blue Devils. St. Marys finished the weekend strong with a 10-4 victory over Robert C. Byrd, they came out strong and never let up. The weekend proved to be beneficial for the Lady Blue Devils as they headed to their final stretch of regular season games.

My name is Autumn Mossor. I am a senior this year, and I am involved in many different groups and activities. I am a part of National Honor Society and Leo Club. FFA is also a big part of my life, I raise a hog throughout the summer and fall, then I participate in the Ham Bacon and Egg Sale in February. I enjoy doing community service as well as playing softball in the spring. I chose to become apart of newspaper to share my ideas and highlight the achievements and events at St. Marys High school. As of right now, after high school I plan to attend some sort of college to become a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant.
