Prom Promise is a day SMHS that is for all the juniors and seniors. This day will be hosted on the twenty fourth of April. Prom promise takes up an entire school day for the upper classes.
This day is to teach the students the dangers of what can happen while driving under the influence or driving recklessly. The volunteers that will be here are peer solutions in the auditorium, Anna Runnion for Camden Clark in the band room, Pleasants county and St Marys law enforcement in the greenhouse parking lot, St Marys and Belmont fire department in the ag garage, Diane Shingler in Mr. Smith’s room, Adam Myers’s in Mr. Crawford’s, Neil Morehead and Shannon Brandy in Mr. Nutter’s room and Mark Childers in the computer lab.
