On Feb. 5, St. Marys boys basketball hosted Wahama boys. The Blue Devils got off to a strong start as they jumped out to a 20-14 lead after one period of play. Wahama, however, battled back and took control of the game in the second and third quarter.
The White Falcons outscored St. Marys 18-8 in the second quarter to take a 32-28 lead at halftime and then outscored the Blue Devils 24-11 in the third quarter to increase their lead to 56-39. Wahama maintained the eight-point advantage in the fourth quarter as it improved their season record to 7-4. Charlie Long led the White Falcons with 17 points, while Roe Maston led the Blue Devils with 12. In the end, the Blue Devils fell short 47-64.
