From Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, the SMHS FFA chapter attended the National FFA Convention and Expo held in Indianapolis. The attending students were two seniors, Blake Campbell and Alexzander Baltazar. They took part in activities, such as, attending a college fair, career exploration leadership workshops, and had the opportunity to watch the final round of the Conduct of Chapter Meetings LDE competition. Former SMHS students, Alyssa Brooker, Owen Velazquez, Delany Brookover-Dennis and Cody Houser were awarded their American FFA Degree. Jake Delancey, Adam Bennett and Ben Wagstaff also received this honor, but they were unable to attend.

My name is Brylee McGrady. I am a senior. I play softball, and I am apart of the National Honors Society and Leo Club. I like to spend time with the people I love and listen to music for fun. After I graduate, I plan on going to college to major in exercise science, and eventually get my doctorate to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. I am taking newspaper so I can help provide our community with current information.
My name is Autumn Mossor. I am a senior this year, and I am involved in many different groups and activities. I am a part of National Honor Society and Leo Club. FFA is also a big part of my life, I raise a hog throughout the summer and fall, then I participate in the Ham Bacon and Egg Sale in February. I enjoy doing community service as well as playing softball in the spring. I chose to become apart of newspaper to share my ideas and highlight the achievements and events at St. Marys High school. As of right now, after high school I plan to attend some sort of college to become a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant.
