St. Marys High school has welcomed two faculty members. Miss Meeks is the new conselor and Mrs. Bills is the new math teacher. They have dedicated their lives to teaching. They are continuing that path in St. Marys.
- Miss Meeks decided to start her career as a consular because she wanted students to know someone was there for them. She said, “… I wanted to make sure that students knew there was someone in their corner.” While Mrs. Bills had a passion for education. She said, “I loved math and science and took every class that I could.”

Miss Meeks is St. Marys Alumni and “I am very thankful I have the opportunity to give back to the school and community that have guided me into who I am.” Mrs. Bills have familial ties to St. Marys and yearned to teach trigonometry. “My husband’s family is from this county and so everything is all about Saint Marys!
- Miss Meeks got her degree from Marshall University. I enjoyed my time immensely and I know I definitely made the right choice choosing Marshall.” Mrs. Bills said, “My bachelors degree is from Glenville State College and I have a masters degree from WVU.”
- Miss Meeks found her calling through personal reflection. She said, “I have a kind heart, listening ear and I am always willing to do anything I can to help someone in need.” Mrs. Bills found her path through experiences. She said, “I tutored all through college and enjoyed it, and I have always liked math.”
- Their favorite part of their job is the students and seeing how their actions make a difference. Miss Meeks said, “My favorite part of my job is seeing kids smile.” Mrs. Bills said, “I love seeing the lightbulb come on when my students “get” what I’m teaching. “
