Senior+spotlight

The Senior Spotlight reflects on a senior who is involved with the school and it’s programs, a good standing student and who is a role model for others. Someone who exhibits all of these aspects is Emily Hadley.

Emily is an 18 year old senior at St. Marys High School. She has been a part of many organizations and extra-curriculars including; Volleyball and a term as student council vice president. Two fun facts about Emily are that her favorite kind of dog is a pitbull, and her favorite food is pasta. In her free time, Emily likes to hang out with friends.

In response to some questions Emily said:

What motivates you?
“Receiving awards is what motivates me.”

What do you plan to do after graduation?
“Go to WVU-P to study nursing”

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
“Probably buy a house and pay off my parents’ debt”

What is the biggest lesson you learned in high school?
“Making memories is worth more than getting the best grades.”

Will you miss high school after it’s over?
“I think so, because being an adult will be hard.”

Any Advice for the freshmen?
“Relax and enjoy it, because it’ll be over before you know it.”
