Have you ever wanted to play a sport so badly but your school didn’t have it? There is always basketball, or volleyball but what about Lacrosse. Or rugby or maybe even hockey. Maybe if schools including mine had more choice options with sports we could possibly see more potential in students. We could possibly have a bigger school as well.

Have you ever thought about the sport lacrosse? Lacrosse is played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. Lacrosse is the oldest sport organized in North America. It was first played in the 17th century. Lacrosse has 10 people on the field, 3 attacks, 3 middle, 3 defenders, and one goalie. The whole point is to get more goals shot into the net than the other team to win. This would be a very interesting sport to have at my school.

What about rugby? This sport originated from England. Rugby is a full contact game. You must have a rugby ball, scrum cap, and rugby boots. The rugby game is broken down into two halves of forty minutes and a ten minute break in between. You play with up to fifteen players and can also have seven subsistutes. Each team can kick, pass, or carry to the other end zone. Whoever has the more points at the end of the game wins. This would be a very intense sport to play but fun to watch.

Imagine having a hockey arena at your school! Hockey would be such a cool sport to have at your very own highschool. Hockey is a sport where two teams skate across ice with a hockey puck and a hockey stick to shoot in the other team’s goal to score. There are two goals on each end. The point to the game of hockey is to score more points than the other team. They would have six people out at a time on the ice. This would be a very exquisite game to play at your very own highschool.
