Students Tell Their Babysitting Horror Stories

Have you ever spent a night babysitting? Kids can be a lot of work, but they can also be quite entertaining. Babysitting is a great way to make some quick money, but you might not know exactly what you’re getting yourself into. Let’s take a look at a few horror stories

“I used to babysit my little sister and she was really bad. She did not listen at all. I would tell her that if she didn’t listen then the Wild Witch of the West would come get her and take her away. She’s been good for the most part ever since.
Rylee Schmidt, 12th

“When I used to babysit I told the kids that they needed to behave because if not the trash man would come pick them up and take them to the dump, never to be seen again.
Reagan Williams, 11th

“Back when I used to babysit I would tell the kids that not brushing can cause cavities which will lead to a big man with a mask to pull all of your teeth out if you can’t take care of them.”
Aimee Chambers, 12th

“I told the kids I was babysitting that monsters lived in the basement and at anytime if they were to get in trouble than they would have to spend a timeout at the top of the staircase.”

Mrs. Tice, teacher.

“When taking care of my neighbors kids I would tell them about Freddy Krueger and how he’ll come get them if they aren’t behaved.”

Danyelle Buchannan, cook

“Back when I used to babysit, if the kids didn’t clean up after themselves I would clean up their mess the first time and tell them that a cleaning demon was going to get them if they didn’t start cleaning up.”

Mr. Mote, teacher.

“My 4-year-old little cousin wouldn’t brush her hair, so to make her brush I told her that a hair witch would come and cut all of her hair off.”

Ethan Parsons, 11th
