The seniors at the SMHS are getting a head start on there college plans. The annual college fair allowed them to speak to representatives and see which programs, housing and scholarships are offered by each university. Local unions were also in attendance for students who plan to enter a trade or the workforce after graduation.
Those in attendance included: University of Charleston, Marine Corps, Shepherd University, Glenville State, Washington County Career Center, Potomac State, West Virginia Northern, West Liberty University, WVDRS, WVA Laborers Union, WVU-Parkersburg, Waynesburg University, WVU Eberly College of Art Science, Fairmont State University, Marshall University, WVWC, WVWR ,WVUP ,WVUDP, Davis & Elkins College, Marietta College, Liuna Local 984, Concord University, Lees-McRae College and Wheeling University.
