St. Marys High School’s girls’ basketball team took down Mingo Central at the Snyder of Berlin/Utz Snacks Shootout at WV State University. The game was close in the first half, St. Marys leading by one point after two quarters. By halftime, they were up 27-25. After half, St. Marys came out strong, pulling their lead to 15 points by the end of the third quarter. The Lady Devils held onto their score in the fourth for a solid 60-48 win.
Addie Davis, Brynnley Bulluck and Anna Bennett had big games. Davis scored 19 points, had rebounds, and played good defense. Bulluck also put up 19 points and added rebounds, steals, and assists. Bennett had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
