Our St. Marys Lady Blue Devils played the Oak Glen Golden Bears on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The girls dominated by scoring a quick 55 points in the first half. The first quarter resulted in a score of 27-7, then lead to the score to end as 55-13 by half time. The Lady Blue Devils continued to score and finished the game strong with a score of 79-44. Addie Davis (senior) contributed 21 points to this final score. Callie Powell (Senior) scored an additional 15 points. Other notable scorers, Brynnley Bulluck (sophomore) had 16 points, Anna Bennett (sophomore) had 7 points, Lainey Watkins (freshman) with 8 points, and Landry Riggs (freshman) with 7 points.
At Tuesday’s game, the Senior Lady Blue Devils were also recognized on Senior Night. Addie Davis, Callie Powell and Linsie Asher are our seniors this season. They were recognized for their outstanding high school careers.
