St. Marys, trailing by five points (43-38) heading into the fourth quarter, rallied late to force the game into overtime. The Blue Devils outscored Trinity 15-10 in the final period, and a clutch baseline jumper from Trent Renner with four seconds left tied the game, sending it to an extra period.
However, Trinity Christian seized control in overtime, outscoring St. Marys 14-6 to secure the victory. Austin Porta was the standout player for the Warriors, finishing with 23 points and leading three Trinity players in double figures. Harley Jackson added 13 points, while Parker Hopkins contributed 10 points in the win.
For St. Marys, senior Preston Lawhon had a stellar performance, leading all scorers with 25 points, including four three-pointers. Fellow seniors Ryan Kent and Brody Rice also had strong outings, with Kent scoring 14 points and Rice adding 10.
