On February 10th the SMHS girls’ basketball team played against Mingo Central at West Virginia State University, in which they played inside the Walker Convocation center. The Lady Devils were pulling ahead in the first have in a 27-25-point score. Then they came back and dominated the second wave of the game with 46-31. At the end of the game the lady devils improved their record to a 15-3. We so excited to see how they end their season.

My name is Autumn Harper. I am a current senior at SMHS. Along with newspaper staff I am a part of theatre, band, and choir. I have been a part of all these programs since my first year at SMHS. I was lucky enough to start a dance class last year and it has become my favorite period. I take pride in everything I am a part of and so lucky I get to do what I do.
