Friday, Feb. 14 was a day dedicated to passion projects. Students and faculty shared their passions with one another through different stations throughout the day. Some examples include: Mrs. Nichols and Layla Snively’s line dancing station; in this session you get to learn the basics of line dancing no partner or experience required. Another fun example is Knitting and Crocheting with Lilian Westbrook and Sarah Shackelford; in this passion project it’s a chilled, laid-back hands-on way for beginners that are looking to master the basics.
There were many other project options such as, Collecting with Mr. Crawford, Slime Making with Callie Powell, Cali Masters, Madison Sturgeon and Ella Bullman, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with Kenna Broce, Alyssa Dawson, Maddie Steele and Logan Eddy, Dirt Bikes with Tyler Dalrymple, Colt Boley and Casey Burkhammer, Fun in Theatre with Madison Kern and Sam Lauderman, Nail Art with Ryleigh Haught and Savannah Keife, Reading and Book Clubs with Miss Meeks, Board Games and Cards with Mrs. Johnson, Art from the Heart- Emma Wince, Corey Yoho and Olivia Holmes, Professional Wrestling with Allie Wilson, Fishing with Clinton Utt and Wyatt Shields, Make-up Tutorials with Addie Davis and Bella Tagliarini, Aviation with Drake Duty, Roblox with Baylee Dilling, Andrea Yoho, Jerika Longwell and Braden Davis, Painting with Kendall McGee, Rock Painting with Brenzie Ebert, Anna Bennett, Brooklyn Davis and Maddie Smith, Hunting and the Outdoors with Tucker Weekly and Greg Jemison, Technology and Cybersafety with Gracie Butler, Cross Stitch with Mrs. Bills, Pleasants County Parks and Recreation/The Boys and Girls Club with Danny Najar, Model Airplanes with Mark Radcliffe and Scott Howard and Basketball with Brynnley Bullock.
