The St. Marys golf team competed in a golf match on Monday, Aug. 26. The golf match against five other LKC opponents including Doddridge County, Wirt County, Parkersburg Catholic, and the host of the match Ritchie County. St. Marys top golfer of the night was Preston Lawhon. Lawhon shot a 2-over par round of 38. Lawhon shared medalist honors with Mr. Luke Rokisky from Doddridge County. The Blue Devils golf team had two of the next three players tied for third place with rounds of 40. Those Blue Devils golfers include Trent Renner and Kenzie Armstrong. The final scoring position for St. Marys went to Brady Rinard who shot a 41. Rinard tied for sixth place overall. The other two St Marys golfers were Tripp Morrison who shot 43 and Addie David who shot 44. St. Marys won the five team match with 159 overall.
