There is something so fascinating about multiples. The chance of being born an identical twin is 1 in every 250 births. SMHS hosts more sets of twins than most schools of similar size. There are seven sets of twins at SMHS. Twins begin bonding while in the womb, and the majority remain close throughout their entire life.
Lets take a look at an interview given to two sets of twins who attend SMHS:

1. From what you remember, what was your childhood like being a twin sister, and what was it like to spend time with your twin?
It kind of sucked because we had to share everything.-Jenny
I remember dressing the same. I also remember talking for her because was too scared.- Katie

2. Do you wish you weren’t a twin, if so why?No, because it’s weird to not have a twin, even though shes annoying.- Jenny
No, because its the most interesting part of me.-Katie

3. Do you feel like you guys have a strong connection as twins?
No, because we just don’t have a connection.-Jenny

4. Would you be the same person if you weren’t a twin?
No, because I would have made many bad decisions.-Jenny
No, being a twin shapes your personality.-Katie

5. Throughout the years, have people had trouble figuring out who was who?
Yes, in our younger years, but we don’t look anything like each other now that we are older.-Jenny
In our younger years, yes. As we’ve gotten older,we’ve definitely changed our looks and personality.-Katie

1. From what you remember, what was your childhood like being a twin brother, and what was it like to spend time with your twin? Our childhood was good, but there was a lot of fighting. -Joe
Our childhood was fun, but we got into a fight everyday, and it was annoying because we had to share everything.- Josh

Yes, because we have to share everything, everyone gets us confused and its stupid.-Josh
