Sophomore Alyssa Dawson was recently selected to represent St Marys High School for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program. It is a summer event, where the organization gathers all the HOBY nominees into a weekend event, and they learn to be the next generation of leaders. They provide ambassadors, like Dawson, with the capabilities to inspire change within the school and community.
Alyssa Dawson is a member of the class of 2026; she was nominated by teachers and counselor Loura Rinard, as they see the leadership abilities in her. Our school system sees the potential within Alyssa, and we are proud of her accomplishment.
