On Nov. 1-4 the SMHS FFA chapter went on a trip to the National FFA Convention and Expo. The convention was held in Indianapolis. Current students that went were Alyssa Brooker, Delaney Brookover, Adam Bennett, Micah Evans and Shane Deweese. These students participated in leadership workshops, career and college exploration, attending workshops, and watching some of the best individuals and teams compete in national level leadership development events. Also, former students Cyle West, Mariah Evans, and Hannah Dearth received their American FFA degree.
