Volunteering is something we should all do, just to start it looks great on any type of résumé. If you want to go to college, it looks great and if you want to go into the workforce, it shows your willing to work and do what you can to help. Also, if you ever want to make your own company or be a higher up in a corporation or a job in general it is a great way to get some leadership skills and learn from others about theirs. Next, it allows you to meet new people and expand your skill set from the people you meet, you never know you may meet a life long friend while you’re at it.
Lastly, it’s just a great way to give back to the community you live in or to those in need. Volunteering is something we should all join in doing, it looks good to employers and colleges, gives you leadership skills, and lets you meet some new people. All that plus giving back to the community is a great way to spend some of your free time. Making the whole world a better place and your self while you’re at it. It is a very rewarding thing for anyone no matter how old or young you are.
