Although Steelers statistically have had one of the best defenses for the past couple years. Head coach Mike Tomlin has an overall record of 167-95. But as of right now the Steelers are struggling with a good time as they are 4-3. Their defense is still preforming very well but offensively they can’t score points. Many blame this on offensive coordinator Matt Canada. At Steelers games and even Penguins games there are “Fire Canada” chants. Since 2020 the Steelers have 55 consecutive games without 400 yards total. This is tied for the second-most ever. In today’s offensive game is a very rare that a team doesn’t accumulate 400 yards. But yet it is every game for the Steelers.
Most players, fans, and even fans of other teams all agree that he should be fired. In the games we have won, Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett has started calling his own plays and scoring. These were first reports, but Pickett confirmed it. The owner of the Steelers is encouraging the Steelers administration to fire him. SMHS junior quarterback Ryan Kent says, “At this point, he should already be out of here. We have a good team, ruined by a bad coach.”
