The lady devil cross country team has had an outstanding season. They ran one of their best days recently at the Patty Forgey Invitational at Rio Grande, Ohio. This meet took place at the Bob Evans Farm. They finished with 73 points behind Unito with 59 tallies. The lady devils placed three runners in the top eight to secure runner-up amongst 40 other teams and 204 other runners. Virginia Haddox crossed the line in fourth place with a time of 19:49:78. Freshmen Anna Bennett was not far behind in fifth place with a 20:47:02, that was good for the eighth-place medal. The other two in scoring positions were Maddie Smith in 25th with a 21:34:3, and Jaela Davis in 39th with a 22:04:4.
On the boys side, they grabbed seventh place with 225 points. Max Dauch was in the top ten, placing seventh with a 17:04:4. Parker Barnes finished 31st out of the 296 runners with a rime of 17:53:7. The other two scorers for the blue devils were Tristan Murner in 53rd with a time of 18:34:2, and Adam Bennett who finished 95th with a time of 19:43:42. The other blued devil competitors were Christian Houser with a 19:37:7 to get him 99th, and Desmond Parks in 106th with a 16:20:7.
