Having a uniform would be a good thing to put in place. It really elevates the school and makes everyone look uniform and the same. Sometimes waking up in the morning and picking out a outfit for the day is very challenging. If we had a uniform we could just put that on and go, we would no longer take 20 minutes just to get dressed in the morning. We could use that time to eat, play on our phones, sleep in, or prepare for the day ahead. It would also help the less fortunate kids not get teased or bullied for not having the best shoes or clothes. These kids would look exactly the same so there would be nothing to get made fun of for.
It also prepares kids for the real world, you aren’t going to show up to your place of work in pajama pants and a tee shirt. It teaches them to get comfortable in dress clothes. It would also help with the dress code. There wouldn’t be anyone getting in trouble for being too revealing or provocative. It would save the teachers a headache because no one likes dress coding students or getting dress coded. It’s a very good option for schools and it would be beneficial if all schools adapted this uniform.
