The top five dog breeds of 2022 were the French Bulldog, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepard dog, and the Poodle. All of these dogs made the top 5 cut in 2022.
Lots of people have their own opinions on their own dog and what makes the best dog. So what does make the best dog? Sources say that people want their dog to be trustworthy and reliable. They want loyal, good dogs so that they don’t have added stress in their life.
We asked senior Sophie Greenleaf and sophomore Kylie Sprouse what their favorite dog breed was. Sophie said hers is a “Shih Tzu” this is the breed of her dog, Oscar. It is ranked number 20 on the 2022 dog breeds list. Kylie said that her favorite dog breed is the “pug” she likes these dogs because they are “cute”.
The pug is ranked number 35 on the list. Everyone has their own opinion on what dogs are the best and their favorite. People also have different experiences with different dog breeds. This is a controversial subject because different people have opposite opinions. It all depends on the type of person If they like small, big, fluffy, short haired, tall, short, round, skinny and many more types of dogs.
