Two of the best beaches to go to on vacation in the United States are the Florida Keys and the Outer Banks. The Florida Keys are located on island chains off the southern coast of Florida. The Keys are home to the only coral reef in the United States, making this a beautiful place to swim and go snorkeling. The weather here is usually warm and tropical year–round. The keys are also fairly close to WV.
Flying from West Virginia to the Florida Keys takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are also lots of attractions there that cover the nature and culture of the place. Lance Craven says, “It’s a beautiful place; the water is clear, and the coral reef is breathtaking.”
The Outer Banks are located in a chain of islands off the coast of North Carolina, 100 miles from the shoreline. The outer banks are known for their picturesque beaches, lighthouses, and rich maritime history. The weather here is typically warmer in the summers and a little cooler in the winter months. Outer banks is also where the series “The Outer Banks” was set, making it a cool place with lots of attractions and sights to see. This beautiful place has lots of water sports and activists, such as surfing, kiteboarding and fishing.
