The St.Marys High School volleyball team had a tough match at home against the Roane County Raiders for an exciting match for both teams. The Raiders fought hard and took the first set 26-24. This shows that both teams were ready to go from the first serve. St. Marys came back motivated and aggressive winning the second set 25-12. Which evened both sets at one set match each. Third set comes up which determines the victory for either team. In the end the raiders came out with two points ahead for a 25-23 win which set up a crucial forth set for the Lady Devils. The Lady Devils fought hard and brought the forth set to 25-7. Both team were even which brings the fifth set, which a team will have to win by two points this depends on which team will take it home. In this match both teams gave it their all till the finished, Roane County finally achieved the final and leading score, which led to a losing home opener, but credit to the Lady Devils for giving it their all and coming game ready.
