The movie “Happy Gilmore” is a sports comedy movie with Adam Sandler as the main character. His name in the movie is Happy and he is an aspiring hockey player. He continues to be cut from his hockey team, until he gets introduced to the game of golf in a surprising manner. His grandma was in debt, and he needed a quick and easy way to make money for her, so he turned to professional golf.
The only problem, however, was that his violent hockey nature was not appropriate on the golf course. As a result, he risked losing membership on the tour and losing his grandma’s house. Happy played golf by hitting the ball incredibly far, much further than his playing partners, and making a fool of himself on the putting green. With some practice and patience, he improves his putting and learns to shoot low scores.
At the brink of the tour championship, he was faced with a bet—win the championship and get his grandma’s house back, or lose and his competitor gets the house. Despite many attempts from his main opponent, Shooter McGavin, Happy stays calm and makes an incredible putt in the end to win the tour championship and his grandma’s house. “Happy Gilmore” is a great movie, especially for the one who loves sports, comedy, or the development of a character through many trials.
