Chance Cox Signs with Letter-of-Intent with Marietta College
Chance Cox has an opportunity that not many student athletes get to do which is playing football at the next level. That accomplishment doesn’t come easy though as Chance has worked hard to be where he is at the last four years of his high school football career.
Coaches have always known chance as the player who will get the job done whenever he is asked and will always show up to put the work in. The 6-foot-3, 219lb senior will be playing for the pioneers as a Tight End.
Chance signed his letter of intent at the SMHS auditorium joined by his family, friends, coaches, and teammates last week. Cox will be majoring in engineering.
Chance was also a part of the 2020 state championship team. He’s been a big contributor on all 3 phases of the game hauling in a career 22 receptions for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is known more for his run blocking and hot routes.
