Walt Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” does not disappoint. The movie focuses on the relationship between the Beast who was magically turned into a monster and his servants into household objects as a punishment for his arrogance and Belle who is a young woman he had imprisoned in exchange for her fathers release. To break the cures the Beast must learn to love Belle and earn her love in return before the last petal falls from the enchanted rose or he will remain a monster forever.
Like all Disney movies, Beauty and the beast surrounds its central characters with a large peanut gallery of gossipy, chattering, supporting characters that everyone loves and knows.
The main message of the movie is that we should value inward characteristics such as kindness over other superficial qualities, such as wit and appearance.
I personally love the movie, it’s always been my favorite growing up. I give the movie a 10/10 and would recommend it to any age because of the lessons you learn and who doesn’t love Disney movies?
