Parental Pressure in Career Choices
Parental pressure can greatly influence a child’s career choice. Growing up we look to our parents for all the answers, even some adults still do. From the day we are born, all or every parent wants their child to be successful, so many have very high expectations in and outside of school.
During our last year of high school we have to make the choice if we want to go to college, and if so where and what we want to study. Many know what college but never what they want to study, so parents take this opportunity to choose what you will do.
Parents should not pressure their kids into a career they don,t want. Instead they should take the time to hear what their child is interested in and help them find a good college to study and be happy their child wants to work. If you truly love your job you’ll never work a day in your life if you really love what you do.
