Jodi Bullman and Deena Miller return to coach the cheerleaders into another successful season. The cheerleaders showed tremendous growth last year, bringing home a trophy for the first time in a couple decades.
The SMHS 22-23 cheerleaders include (seniors) Allison Amos (captain,) Dylan Covey; Sophomores: Ella Bullman, Reese Cottrill, Shelby Steele, Savanna Keife, Anna Kimball, Andrea Yoho, Makinzie Wilson, Lexi Webb; Freshmen: Brylee McGrady, Layla Snively, Hannah Dutton, Sidney Kisner and Taylor Brode.
This year the cheerleaders are looking to be state bound.They have outstanding tumbling and advanced stunts, which should put them in high position to qualify for state. They have been working very hard since the beginning of May. The cheer team purchased glamorous competition uniforms this season and learned competitive choreography from Joshua Wolfe.
One thing the cheerleaders are looking forward to this year is the football season and cheering on their team on the sidelines.
