Yearbook Staff Makes Plans for the Year
The yearbook staff has big plans for the 2020 yearbook. On Oct. 14, a handful of yearbook staff members travelled to Hillard Bradley High School in Columbus, Ohio for a yearbook convention. This gave staff members a chance to see other schools yearbooks, and begin to plan the design of their own.
This year, the theme will be “We Dream In Gold.” The yearbook cover will be in black and gold, and will feature something never before done. Each SMHS students’ names will be featured on the cover, in hopes to make every student feel even more included, and make the yearbook feel more personal. The yearbook staff will begin working on their pages starting next week.
The productions class here at SMHS is working hard to create a yearbook commercial, so stay tuned for that! Yearbooks are on sale now through the end of the year. They are $50 until November 30 and then the price will go up.
