Ag Fair

This year the FFA organization held the 19th annual Agricultural Youth Fair. This began Saturday September 21st and wrapped up Sunday September 22nd. Kicking off the fair on Saturday evening at the marina were the events as follows: Cornhole Tournament, Most creative pumpkin display, fun on the inflatables, and wild world of animals show, and to finish off the evening, lazer light show. Your winner for your 2019 Agriculture Youth Fair was Tressa Lamp. Also taking place on Saturday were the drag races, and the new Demolition derby. Closing out the weekend on Sunday, there were not as many events but there was still a lot of things to go and see and listen too. This year the fair didn’t do the mud bogs, so instead they did a demolition derby, there was a good crowd for this one, and it seemed that people really enjoyed watching it. Also the FFA and 4-H kids had a good turnout at the fair. Winning Grand champion for his pig was Jake Cox. As the 4-H booths were down at the barn, they all had a very good turnout. As well as the volleyball team selling ice cream down by the marina building. The 4-H exhibits in the marina building were very creative and unique.
