Gucci Mane dropped the craved woptober II on Oct. 17 at midnight. The tracklist is 13 unreleased songs. With many big features like Kodak Black, Megan The Stallion, Quavo and Takeoff from Migos all the way to the new well known rapper NBA Youngboy. The best feature I believe is Quavo on “Came from scratch,” they both do great verses and Tay Kieth did amazing with the production. He even has well known producers on a good number of songs such as Metro Boomin, Tay Kieth , Southside, London on the track and even Zaytoven . The album also has good solo’s with just Gucci such as “Move Me” and “Oops and Adversaries.” The album is the well known gucci mane since being released from prison in 2016. It definitely is one of his best pieces of work since 2016, but no comparison to prime Gucci mane prime 2010 till lockup.
The album in my opinion tops his last “Delusions of Grandeur” which he released over summer on June 21, which debuted on number seven on the US Billboard 200. It also sold 32,000 equivalent copies and 3,000 in pure album sales his first week. The biggest song of his last album is Backward featuring Meek Mill and the other song “ICE” featuring Gunna and Lil baby.
Gucci mane album is the start of a more consistent artist since his release in 2016, three years have gone by and more and more we get bodies of music from him showing his freedom has pushed him to focus more on music and his health. This album has had the most potential with the features, title, and tracklist he has the opportunity to have another classic album.
